Food was delicious and service was very good.We had blackened salmon and grilled trout.We will be back next time we are in town.
To start off positively, the food is always good. However, it is pricey. The biggest complaint is the service. They are not very flexible with swapping out sides for dietary reasons. Everything is an "upcharge". We eventually spoke with the manager and she made good on the dietary issues, but our server continued to be dismissive and rarely checked back from that point on. We will not return.
Excellent food, reasonable prices, exemplary service. We will become regulars.
I have to say this was the best dining experience of my life! It was mainly because I proposed to my now fiancee. However, the staff did a spectacular job helping me out with it. The food was really good. Their selection of oysters was great and their clams were delicious too. The service was wonderful, she wasn't absent, but she wasn't hovering either. Their fish tasted very fresh. The sea bass was cooked correctly and not over cooked. The prices are fair for the quality of the food. The location is beautiful and it is a good little restaurant. Thank you again to the server who recorded my proposal! Catch 54 made it the best dinner I've ever had!
This rating is for the quality of food which is consistently good. Wait staff recently seemed a little inexperienced. My disappointment was with the policy that the kitchen "won't plate a shared salad before coming to the table". This is such an easy request to fill for a customer and also shows a bit of class.
